Broken with iOS10

When compute, results are scrambled. Please fix.

Somethings wrong

Ive used this app for a while and loved it. It was spot on but since the latest iPhone update there are lines on the screen when you click "compute" for your ranges. You have to guess which line is which or have to print it out and take it with you. That doesnt work as temp, humidity, and revolution changes occur. I even sent iSnipe developers an email about the issue and have never received a response. Im now looking for something that can replace this app that I can actually use.

IOS 10 killed the app.

Nothing but vertical lines in the compute chart! Please fix!

Fix bug!

This is a great app! However, at the moment it does not work after upgrading to iOS 10.

Until IOS 10 it was flawless!

Once they fix the new bug this app will be my range buddie again. Ive had 4 years of dependable use and Ive learned a lot with it. Please fix the problem, once you press compute with your rifle data the drop chart comes out as lines. Completely useless. Bummer.

IOS 10 breaks app

With the update to IOS 10, the text data fields have become corrupted vertical lines. Ive used this program for years, and sing its praises... but I recommend holding off on buying the program until this new bug has been addressed. The software designer has addressed each of the issues that have cropped up in the past with each IOS upgrade, and Im confident he will smash this bug too.

iOS 10 update hack

If you press the compute button and see only hash marks all over the page you can email that page to yourself and get your dope. This is BS that we have to go through this but just in case youre shooting a match or something and you need this info this is a way around it.

USELESS. Under iOS10 this app is unreadable.

Formerly my app of choice for ballistics. Now, just takes up memory I could use for viruses.

Dropped the Ball

I reviewed this app a while ago and gave it five stars! With updates this app has dropped the ball! I used it at the range for a number of different rifles but now that the compute for range shows hash marks that does help at all. Please fix the app. I paid for it and wish to continue with the use!

Awesome!!!

Wow. Love this app its all I use. The new iPhone upgrade messed up the calculations page so cant wait to fix that. Ill also get the spin drift upgrade and it will be complete.

Doesnt work after iOS 10 update

This app used to work great until the iOS on my phone updated. The app still works on my iPad but I dont take my iPad with me into the field. They need an update to work with iOS 10 soon!

Fixed the bug

They fixed the bug. Great great app. I target shoot and hunt. Great app. Worth the money

Solid program

User friendly program with many options

fantastic app

Fantastic app. Easy to use

Great app

Needs HUD display .. 4 stars until then .. Otherwise just as good as the other ballistic apps.

Needs velocity calculator based on known drop data

Great app, but needs a velocity calculator based on known drop at different distances. It would also be nice to separate wind drift from spin drift and Coriolis in the table so those can be adjusted for and wind can be done using mil dots.

Needs density altitude input!!

Wish it would allow direct input of density altitude. Would be a time saver over having to input altitude, pressure, humidity separately. Great app. Tested to 1250 yards in last comp. time for an update to include more calibers a like 416 Barrett, 7mm Norma, 338 edge. Also would be nice if it allowed you to store load recipe notes under user projectiles. And dont forget density altitude!! Not a big fan of the latest update. Input screens are abbreviated for no apparent reason. Distance calculator bombs every time I use it.

Wind Solution Wrong

Overall, a very good program, but with a serious flaw. The solution for wind lead is incorrect. The system wrongly calculates wind lead from your zero setting range (mine is 200 yrd.). Instead, it should calculate total lead from muzzle to target. The program does, as it should, have 2 separate settings for wind; one when you zeroed the gun initially, and the other for wind condition at time of shooting. But they dont compute the difference correctly for lead. I sighted my gun at 200 yards and entered 0 wind speed and logged this into Isnipe. The resultant ballistic table appears theoretically correct. The problem occurs when you enter the 2nd wind condition for the time of shooting. Enter, say a 15 mph crosswind from 9 oclock, and the resultant solution shows ZERO wind drift at 200 yards. The tables indicate the negative amount of lead up to zero, and the positive amount after zero. To get true lead, out to an example of 350 yards, one would need to add the amount of total negative lead from 0-200 (as a positive number) to the lead noted at 350 yards. The program also fails to report correctly, when the user asks it to calculate and show the reticle solution for a specific distance, in lieu of using the tables. It will show NO lead at 200 yards, regardless of the daily wind speed you select. And the amount of lead at any distance past 200 will be incorrect, as it does not include the accumulated lead up to 200 factored in. The system should compute the TOTAL DIFFERENCE from the wind condition noted at zeroing, and the daily wind entered.

Good app

Ive been using this for almost 3 years. Make sure that info you are plugging in is accurate and you will be on the money. Several times things didnt jive and my bullet was not landing as predicted by the app. I rechecked my settings and realized that I made some errors in the data entry. As soon as I corrected my data input it was right on target accurate. Temps are not always correct. I always bring my portable weather station with me. Ranges can be hotter or colder, wind stronger, etc. than the nearest weather station were this app gets its info. Double check your weather readings against your hand held weather station.

Not worth the price

It does not let you compare bullets. Which is the reason I got it.
